Murder Mystery Dinner at The Hays House 1857 : Friday Night Show

Hays House 1857 Restaurant and Tavern is very excited to announce that we are presenting family-friendly, interactive murder mystery comedies. Our next show, presented by Levity Players Group, is:

When Good Murders Happen to Bad Actors

Director Joel Train is presenting the final dress rehearsal of his new play, “When I Grow Up, I Want God or Evolution to Make Me Into a Droid Noid or an Intelligent Phone Owner”, a courtroom potboiler concerning whether creationism or evolution should be taught in the public schools. Before the rehearsal can be completed, a murder occurs. Detective “Heavy” Levy, a sometime community theatre actor, comes to the scene, “the show must go on”, and the humor goes on as well.

The talented actors of Levity Players Group will present this show on Friday, April 22nd and on Saturday, April 23rd at 7:00, seating at 6:00. This is a great show for Spring.

The dinner includes:

Mushroom caps stuffed with Andoullie and three-cheese blend in garlic cream sauce

Salad of mixed field greens, with strawberries and candied walnuts, tossed with a champagne vinaigrette

Beef Wellington with burgundy demi-glaze, roasted Fingerling potatoes, and grilled asparagus

White chocolate mousse in chocolate cup, drizzled with caramel and raspberry sauce
